I haven't bought Rock In Rio, I'm waiting for my home theater system before I buy it.

I've seen the Dvd my boyfriend has it, it's pretty amazing, I love it, all old school.

yes, this might be strange, but I too like iron maiden.
I first discovered the when I was only little. My Nephew, who is a lot older then me, was a teenager back then, and l looked up to him.

Even though it's not my style of music Iron Maiden brings back good memories...

Eh, I own just 2 Iron Maiden albums (Number of the beast, Seventh son) and they're both pretty good. They really have been around a long time, without ever selling out. I still prefer Hetfield to Dickinson, but Dickinson a pretty good singer. I like their artwork as well.
I wonder what my next Maiden purchase will be. It will take a while though.

I suggest you buy '' Piece of Mind " and " Dance of Death " .

those are both good suggestions but since I believe that D'yer Mak'er enjoys metallica's s&m album, I would recommend he pick up either Live After Death or Rock In Rio, the two best live albums maiden has released. Both are awesome and contain versions of songs that are often better than their studio counterparts (Blood Brothers, Fear Of The Dark, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner). Live After Death is considered by many to be the ultimate live metal recording. Or if you want, you could just pick up Edward The Great which contains pretty much all of maiden's "radio friendly" hits. However you won't find their "epics" on that album which are superior in terms of musicianship and creativity.

I highly suggest picking up a maiden album as soon as possible, I hate myself for getting into them so late in their career and my life, even though I'm only 19. I was working at a record store when Brave New World came out in 2000 and a customer asked if I listened to or at least heard maiden before. I said no and he told me to check them out. I shrugged it off and didn't bother. About 2 years later I downloaded Fear Of The Dark and haven't stopped listening to them since...

Same as Metallica trying its hand at Linkin Park and Offspring atistry (they prob figured, well Offspring sucks balls but still sell alot, why cant we??)

I sure hope IM kicks ass!!! i hope they dont fail us like Metallica

The artwork for St. Anger is done by Pushead, who has done the artwork on Metallica shirts for a long time. I don't think he did any artwork for Linkin Park or Offspring seeing as though he mostly does skulls and stuff.

I will look for them. I have looked for Live after Death before, but I've always found that it's just too expensive.

It is very overdubbed but despite this fact it surely is VERY entertaining and a true classic - get it ;-)

Just bought the DVD of them.

Havent watched it- but will post a review of it; its dated so lots of you have probably already seen/heard/ it.

About their new CD; Im so ****ing excited, I remembered the first song my band played was losfer words with lyrics we wrote ourselfs. the (small) crowd went estatic and into a headbanging frenzy , it was ****ing awesome.

Im going to have to look around for my old iron maiden posters and get them back up again

Their new cd art is a letdown, but the other one doesnt look that bad. I'd rather have good music than anything else.
