damn, that's the new cover of the new iron maiden album? it does look pretty bad. I love their old album covers. the best one to me is Number of the Beast. Piece of Mind is cool too. and then, there are the single covers from 7th son of a 7th son, those are totally cool. what is the song with that cover of a punch going through eddie's head? love that one!

I haven't followed iron maiden after bruce left the band, plus my musical taste changed drastically. but I still have a live after death shirt and another shirt with a big eddie head with a chain(with a big snake on the back). I like to wear that eddie head shirt to a electronic show

I have seem some footage from the Piece of Mind tour, I think. it got this big eddie and bruce opened up his head and took his brain out! that was great!!!!

I believe the artwork with the fist going through eddie's head is for the song Can I Play With Madness.

They actually brought that big eddie head with the brain in it back on their recent tour. They had this huge eddie head behind the stage and the brain dropped into it during the song Iron Maiden, if I remember correctly.

Maiden is another band that just plugs away doing what they do, never compromising along the way. I stopped following them devotedly after listening to Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, but I am big on the first 3 albums. Dickinson is the more talented vocalist, and clearly had staying power Di'Anno could only dream of. But for my money, their best music is still found on "Killers" and "Number of the Beast".

But the attitude of Iron Maiden alone - the blue collar ethic, the connection with fans, the honesty in which they play their music - is never anything short of refreshing. They fully deserve their following. I am sad to say I left Detroit in time to miss their show with Dio and Motorhead. I am sure it was excellent.

I am not too fond of the album cover either . " Number of the Beast " and " Piece of Mind " are my favourites as well .
I enjoy that part of that video .

Well I was always partial to the Derek Riggs paintings, but I'm not going to begrudge the bands desire to give themselves a more "updated" look.
