UGH..it happened again; my earbuds are broken. I've only had them for 2 years..the problem: the right bud started to make static noises a few days ago. So, I went to buy another pair and the place I went to had none; only headphones. And the thing is that since I have a sony sports discman, I need yellow earbuds. I do have those sony dj headphones but my brother stole them from me and haven't used them. And they ruin my hair. I like earbuds 'cause they well, don't ruin my hair and the sound seems to err..sound better ^^; I would like some suggestions as to how to look for good ones. Last year, I bought Koss earbuds that came with black foam thingys which you had to press and shape to fit into your ear..and they cost a bit too much for earbuds..grr. The yellow ones only costed $10....Please help~ Thanks~

Yeah sony have pretty good sounding earbuds too but they can be a bit more expensive.

Entymotic makes the best earbuds you can get at any price, but they're spendy- the cheapest ones are about $125 with the top-o-the-line checking in @ $350. Worth it, though, if you use 'em a lot and want the very best.

For $350 you'd want the earbuds to be good!

I used to like Koss earbuds, but honestly, I don't enjoy them at all. They're cumbersome. Sony makes these little sports style headphones that are very inexpensive and put out quite adequate sound for my tastes. I'm not very picky when it comes to this sort of thing.

but on the subject you sort of get what you pay for
someone told me once you take the price of headphones and x it by 10 or somthing and youll get the price they would be if they were speakers

i've got sony fontopia earbuds and they are pretty damn good in my opinion. best ear buds i've ever heard

Oy..it turns out my earbuds (phones..whatever they're called) are fine. It was my cd player that died. Argh...so now, the only way I listen to music is on the computer...But soon, that shall all change. When the ipod mini is available everywhere, I'm gonna get a blue ipod and listen to my music anywhere I want!

I am not sure if my pair is fontopia. but I paid about 70 bucks for my pair and they are good. I like them a lot. sony has other earbud models that sell for over US$100... that seems a bit excessive for earbuds.
