too bad bola or dntel didn't release anything this year...
it would make my decision far more easy.

[what the hell is up with with dntel, anyway? is there anything planned for release any time soon?]

yes, he did.

guess he's preoccupied with the postal service too much to release something by himself...

yeah and it seems some electronic artists make good music and then just give it up because of the lack of profit usually

Ruxpin "Avalon"

Alright, so I order a cd from a guy off ebay (actually win one)...he's a great seller and sends out quick, so when i get my package I find this CD-r along with it and of course I was surprised. Haven't heard of Ruxpin, nor heard anything about this cd, so I pop it in and to my surprise, it is my number 1 album of 2003. Sure, I may be making this Overrated, but as much as I've liked BOC in the past, this is exactly what I would like their new album to sound like, purely serene, with experimental twinges and gracious melodies, it's really remarkable. Please, if you haven't heard this, take the time to try, you shouldn't be disappointed.

really?

just listened to a few tracks and they don't sound special...
I didn't like everything of What Sound either, but the title track, Gabriel and another one were simply great... the new ones don't give me that feeling...

seems Aphex Twin's "26 Mixes for Cash" hasn't been mentioned (well, not that i've seen)

great release, but maybe it's not really a proper album
