I haave a Sony Net MD walkman Mini Disk Player and it comes with two pieces of software one called Simple Burner the other called Sonic Stage. Sonic Stage will allow me to burn almost anything to the disk but simple burner is the one that turns everything into LP4 format but simple burner seems to only want to convert from an audio CD and no other place or format. Is there any other software out there that will allow to convert MP3 to LP4 and from my HDD and not just CD?

I have the same Mini Disk player as well. I use sonicstage all the time, I deleted simple burner, sonicstage does everything it can. Simple burner is used for strictly CDS only. I dont see why you are saying sonicstage only does LP4, if you know how you can do LP2 and stereo also. Why wouldnt you want something else besides sonicstage???Other wise your next best choiice is musicmatch.

i have a NetMD too and i use sonicstage. go to the recording page for Music Drive to NetMD. Click on the wrench icon below the check in/out icons. once ur in the select LP4 mode. After the transfer when you look at the songs on ur NetMD the songs u just transfered should be in LP4 mode. That's what i do and it works for me.
