Seems like Incunabula isn't much appreciatted here.

I think Incunabula is delightful, the drum hits sound very old school and the shythns sound awesome.

Incunabula features some of the greatest autechre tracks ever, like Doctrine, Basscadet...

444 is one of my favourites, but Cavity Job is just TOO basic. Autechre do not do almost generic techno well!

What about GESCOM they have pretty amazing tracks and their style is very open and diverse.

I do like gescom. Especially that minidisc that was just digital insanity and then a spectrum loading!

I have tracks from GESCOM downloaded from NAPSTER.

My favorite works by them are THIS and THAT, amazing music.

GESCOM started off as Autechre, but now they don't really have anything to do with it...I have Keynell, ISS:AA, some of the tracks they did on the MASK series, and the minidisc tracks...all pretty good, I think the original GESCOM stuff was done with Darryl Fitton (Bola)...

So you know GESCOM's roster...for sure?

I know Bola and at least one Ae memeber are part of it. That's it.

Where did you read that Ae is not part of GESCOM anymore?

ok, when the "gescom dj's" go out, I'm sure autechre, or even half of autechre aren't there every time...

http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gescom

just take a look at the bio there...

...and when I said "they don't really have anything to do with it", I basically meant, they do from time to time, but aren't "full time gescom'ers" if that's even a term...

man

i was listening to confield this morning, man it's a great great album, i think in despite of its sonic complexity, it's a very clean album.

very dark, and sometimes thrilling. clean simple melodies, pads -like they been doing for a decade now- plus very intriguing and everchanging rhythm.

certainly one of their best if not their best.

well, I need to go back and listen to confield because it's one of those you either love or hate, and I'm on the hate side
