I wasn't a big Ellington fan. My dad bought a CD from him but..what a surprise it had Charles Mingus and Max Roach on it.
Played it...man probably the greatest jazz album ever recorded.
Great tracks one after the other.
But among all this beauties, there is one in particular that grabbed me: Fleurette Africane: for me, one of the most beautiful tracks evere made.
I am really glad that I got to hear this album, and this song in particular.
