Thanks Blaze and Alli!

I agree with you Spaceman...llama has obviously been watching too much MTV and that's the only time they've ever listened to *cough* rap. People like that annoy me...they make claims on things they know nothing about.

Well, theres a time and place for everything. I can listen to mainstream rap, but not ona long term basis (with the exception of eminem, who i cant not like)... if im partyin or something, its fine it have on... good beats, but not much too it... good background noise... its like any genre of music.. theres the crap, thats thrown in your face everyday (nickelback, i'm looking at you...) and then theres the stuff you'll have to search for (At the Drive-In being one of my personal faves)

Just my 2 cents

Personally I like their songs initially, but canadian radio tends to over play bcs of the CanCon rules... which kills them for me

They don't get any/verry little air play in Australia. Then again, Australia isn't big on rap.

How long have they been around? I don't recall hearing them when I lived in ATL and listened to the radio alot. I think radio play can be very provincial. Outkast got tons of play in ATL before they even went "big", but I hear they still don't get played much up north, like in NYC.
I also just recently looked through a bunch of music stores and no one really had Swollen Members in stock. of course these stores had rows and rows of Ja-Rule and like two copies of Blackalicious, but that's another story.
