Oh wait....these aren't rappers or albums at all..but..oh my gosh...they are ACTUAL ARTISTS!! Whoah! These bands write their OWN music AND lyrics. Thats crazy. No rhyming crap. Wow. No unneccesary profanity or sexual slurs either. Who knew there was actual music?

Nirvana - Lounge Act
"Truth, covered in security/ I can't let you smother me"
Silverchair - Tomorrow
"It's twelve o'clock and it's a wonderful day/I know you hate me but I'll ask anyway"
Soundgarden - Burden in my hand
"'Cause down below the truth is lying
Beneath the riverbed/
So quench yourself and drink the water
That flows below her head"
Primus - Winona's Big Brown Beaver
"Wynona got herself a big brown beaver
And she shows him off to all her friends./
One day you know that beaver tried to leave her,
So she caged him up with cyclone fence."
Lynard Skynard - Sweet Home Alabama
"Sweet Home Alabama, Where The skys are blue/ Sweet Home Alabama, Lord I'm comin home to you"
Seems to me, thats a lot of rhymin' goin on there bud. Come on now, don't go knockin' an art form just cause you don't like it. Rap/Hip Hop takes as much skill as singing, not everyone can do it. If everyone could, there would be no such thing as bad rappers (Benzino, I'm looking at you...). It's been used in rock for some years now... remember Walk this Way?? RATM? POD? or what about "Radio Song" by REM that featured KRS-One? tHose are some 'real artists' with rap influences...
Its music man, just different. Don't be afraid to try something new sometime.
