Just seems a little strange to me, thats all.
A whole coast is able to think Biggie is better than pac and you don't even think Biggie compares at all.

maybe because that particular coast is biased! and partna, not everyone on the east coast thinks biggie is better than pac. let's be realistic now! pac put out more albums dead than biggie did alive. lyrically pac is so cold he's still got shit we ain't heard. his freestyles come harder than anything i've ever heard from biggie and i've been listening to biggie since "party and bullshit".

I don't think number of albums released affects how good an artist does in anyway, since I'm sure their are plenty of rappers who have released more albums than pac.
Biggie also has shit that hasn't been heard, like that Eminem song Runnin?
By hardness of a freestyle I'm not sure what you mean. If it's purely the agressiveness then eminem would be unstoppable. Even though Eminem is, I think it has to do with how he connects the agressiveness with new and original tactics.
I agree with you that Pac takes Biggie any day in substance, I've said it before in this thread and have even deemed Pac the best based purely on that factor. But I listen to rap purely for the substance, I enjoy the catchiness of it. I think Biggie's flow is really good and he raps about stuff I'd do when listening to rap (i.e. smoking, dancing, sex). Now Pac has these things too but I just like Biggie's style of it better. He's more fun, what I'm really listening to the music for.
But take a look at this freestyle. I think it's the most famous of the Biggie/Pac freestyles and really shows off each of their skills and when I read or hear it I'd say their both pretty even.
[Biggie]
I got seven Mack 11's, about eight 38's
Nine 9's, ten mack tens, the shits never ends
You can't touch my riches
Even if you had MC Hammer and them 357 bitches
Biggie Smalls; the millionare, the mansion, the yacht
The two weed spots, the two hot glocks
That's how I got the weed spot
I shot dread in the head, took the bread and the lamb spread
Little Gotti got the shotty to your body
So don't resist, or you might miss Christmas
I tote guns, I make number runs
I give mc's the runs drippin
when I throw my clip in the AK, I slay from far away
Everybody hit the D-E-C-K
My slow flow's remarkable, peace to Matteo
Now we smoke weed like Tony Montana sniffed the llello
That's crazy blunts, mad L's
My voice excels from the avenue to jail cells
Oh my God, I'm droppin shit like a pigeon
I hope you're listenin, smackin babies at they christening
[Tupac] Motherfuckin Biggie Smalls!
[Kane] What you gonna do with it Tupac?
[Tupac]
Yeah where the motherfuckin thugs at?
Throw your motherfuckin middle finger
We gonna do this shit like this
I thank the Lord for my many blessings, never stressin
Keep a vest for protection, from the barrel of a Smith & Wesson
And all my niggaz in the pen, here we go again
Ain't nuttin separatin us from a mack-10
Born in the ghetto as a hustler, told ya
A straight soldier, buckin at the bustaz
No matter how you try, niggaz never die
We just retaliate with hate, then we multiply
You see me strikin down the block, hittin corners
Mobbin like a motherfucker, livin like I - wanna
And ain't no stoppin at the red lights, I'm sideways
Thug Life motherfucker crime, pays!
Let the cops put they lights on, chase me nigga
Zig zaggin through the freeway, race me nigga
In a high speed chase with the law
The realest motherfucker that you ever saw

i can name two people that have more albums than pac. too short and ll cool j. one from each coast. but both of those niggas are still alive. and look how long it took them to do it. by no means does the number of records sold or put out determine how good a rapper is but when the question is who is the best rapper i think pac gave me more reason to think he was than biggie. trust me i'm not trying to sway you either way so why don't we just leave it at that!

I'm not saying your trying to sway me and I understand that you think pac is better than biggie. But what I asked in my last post is what are the reasons behind why you think pac is better. Since apparently Biggie can't compare at all I'm just curious to the reasons.

You two shouldn't be debateing about Pac being better than Big, you should be talkin about how that fool said Eminem is right after Pac. I know Pac and Biggie are good, but should they even be labeled the greatest simply because they died? I'm not totally sure.
