Punk rock albums that should be heard at least once in your life!

okay this is copying from the electronic forum a bit,
but what albums would you list as must listen to punk albums.

I would list:

1) Sex Pistols - Never Mind the Bollocks
2) Iggy & the stooges - Raw Power
3) The Ramones - s/t
4) Black Flag - Damaged
5) The Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for rotting vegetables
6) The Dead Kennedys - Plastic Surgery Disasters
7) Bad Brains - Rock For light
8) The Descendents - Milo goes to college
9) Exploited - Horror Epics
10) Exploited - Troops of Tomorrow
11) The Misfits - Walk among us
12) GBH - City Baby Attacked By Rats
13) Suhumans EP/LP
14) Bad Religion No Control
15) Poison idea Feel the Darkness

what have I left out/what have I included that makes me a looser?

Tanj I always liked the subhumans album the day the world died (something like that) better than ep/lp, just my opinion though.

Yeah that could be true, it is just that I have ep/lp and I am not as familier with the album that you mentioned.

So what DK's have you bought that is wrong?

I agree with the 13 songs for sure, how could I forget that.
Awesome album one of the best ever!

Nirvana being punk is a bit ify...... but if you consider them punk well yeah they are great so put them in to

But if you extend things to nirvana why not TAD 8-way santa or mudhoney superfuzz big muff + early singles

They were a pretty twisted band, I saw them on their piouhgd tour in 1991 and the show was off its head, I am lucky I was not on acid at the time, because if I was I would have lost it.

Not punk in the purest sence of the word but they have the attitude of pushing boundrys and so I would say yep they are punk but I would question if they are punk ROCK. They didn't really rock they sort of wried and twisted.

Definately a must listen to.
