oh fuken hell, Brody was already in a band called Sugarpuss here in Australia. that's how she met Tim. there's def a Rancid influence during The Distillers' early tunes, that's what happens when you're married to a punk rocker and Brody has never denied getting inspiration from Tim. i know, i was gutted that she cheated on Tim for Josh, i was like *****!but yknow what, marriages falter all the time and we don't even know what's behind closed doors. and the fact that Brody decided to change her name back to Dalle signifies she is obviously not latching unto his surname for recognition. she's confident she can stand on her own. i saw them and Queens of the Stone Age last week, and i was impressed with her, she has an amazing voice and aura. Coral Fang is fuken brilliant!! Brody is very talented in her own right, she writes and composes all the Distillers songs, so cut her some slack. now, of course Josh is off the market, and for that, i am envious of Brody. i looove Josh!!

Why dont you get some facts about maybe why she went to Josh I mean allegedly tim was being verbally abusive and a dick, so therefore maybe she wanted to be with someone who treated her like she deserved and strived to be treated instead of someone who used the past against her and thought of her as shit...just a thought.

from what i do see.....i know brody is about the music.....she isn't about going out and selling out to rap like rancid did.....i have to say it....i hate rancid....i always have.....i think there just as good as simple plan.....the credit for punk goes to the ramones and sex pistols....and if you shave your head and have the same ideas then slayer too.....come on brody rocks it...she diserves what she has.

brody is no traitor. she met tim, fell in love, met someone else, end of story. her music and lyrics are more important. and although I feel nosy sometimes, wondering what happened and why she drifted, it's none of my business.

Well she does have a new record with her new band in the works....but I have to laugh at someone who calls Major Tom a wannabe....he's probably forgotten more than this kid will ever know. He/she probably is a Rancid fan as well.


When I think of Brody it reminds me of what happened with Courtney Love and Kurt....of course in Brody's case it was a double scoop of helping.
