they aren't a very good live band. I saw them when they came to vancouver and while I love their LPs their live show wasn't worth the money I spent to get in. That said, I'm seeing them again in about two weeks. Only this time I didn't pay as much and it's in a smaller venue so I'm hopeing it won't suck as much this time around.

ive seen them like 3 times and they rocked every time...their bowery ballroom show was really good and so was their cb's performence

I saw them at the orpheum in vancouver. In their defence I had a shitty seat and seats in general don't work for rock shows.

well thats the reason you cant see a distillers show sitting down...should ripped the ****ing seats out and thrown them at the band...

I dont think that Brody used them. I think that shes amazing and you say thats how she bacame what she is. Hell no! They didnt write her lyrics and they didnt give ner her awsome voice. i think that if the distillers sucked then well no one would like them. Her relationships have nothing to do with that.

yeah, that's an important point hat no one brought up...gaining attention is one thing, but gaining a huge fanbase is something that requires talent and no boyfriend could have given that to her...fans like her for what she's done on her own. no one can argue that...how they found out about her in the first place shouldn't matter.

it's all about her talent not her hook-ups.....no one told me in the studio that it was because of our hook ups we got the gigs.......no it's about talent and it always will be about talent.....I love you Brody

bullshit... who you know is just as important as who you are... talent will take you far... but how you deal with the people you meet once you're there is what determines wether or not you stay...

it is a balance...but ultimately, talent is what gives you longevity. who you know can only take you so far...and of course how you treat those you know can have a major impact...but many bands who act like assholes to others prosper because they are talented and i can't think of any band that has serious endurance with no talent...

I just think Brody's ****EN awsome and I'm not big (and never was) on her personal shit. I didn't hear about her from her x's! i think it sucks that ya'll are bringing her down like this. Shes awsome, and thats all that matters!! quit this whole "traitor" shit.. You dont know shit about her back off. Her music is awsome and so is she!!!
