Blur are incredible, lyrically and musically they have always been a fantastic band. I'd say that their best album was 13 (However the tracks are in the wrong order, me and my friend Az made different versions that both sound a lot better!) Pretty much every album is important, my all time favourite Blur song is Sing (from the album Leisure and the Trainspotting OST). I could go on all day about how great this band is but you would all get bored. I think Modern Life IS Rubbish is a must have too though!

Yep I'm a pretty devoted Blur fan. I was a total Britpop kiddie so Blur were just one of the most influential bands of my youth. I just think they are incredibly innovative and have done a lot for music that has been overlooked, 13 being the perfect example. Have you ever checked out some of the Blur B-Sides? There are some really great ones, I'm surprised there hasn't been a B-sides compilation yet. I'm glad you like the Best Of, there are some great songs on there and I suppose some Blur is better than no Blur at all!

Without a doubt, Song 2 is one of my faves of all time. I really liked Blur for a while.. the lead singer went off to form Gorillaz, by the way. Even though the singles released were real poppy, I urge you to take a look at their album. It's top shit, honestly, listen to it from start to finish once and you're hooked.
