I can't stand this band and couldn't find another thread about them so i just wanted to see what others thought about them.

i've just gotten over it with the bandlink folk. le sigh.

Just curious as to WHY you can't stand them...

and I'm curious why you make a thread about it....

because they aren't original, because their lyrics suck, because, I don't like their music, because the voice irritates me.

Not original.....give me a break.

Lyrics suck...I like their lyrics because they are creative and original (but that can't be, since they aren't original.)

So basically what it boils down to is this....you have heard too many people talk about Linkin Park being crap, and so you say they are unoriginal with crappy lyrics....when the only reason you dont like them is because someone's (could be anyone in the band) voice irritates you.
In conclusion, I find your opinion of them easily justified by a distaste for the vocalist's tonality.
You are lucky, you have not achieved idiot status....yet.....

we have a library were you can rent cd's for a cheap price. I never say something, because other poeple say things, I'm not like that at all, I have listened to one of the albums.
I always do some research before sayong things like that!

for example "don't say"...now what lyric is that? It's always the same thing over and over again. Sometimes that's not a bad thing, like the white stripes, they have a songs, white always the same lyrics in it.

If you judge me like that, then you're totally wrong, frankly, I don't care about what you think about me. I have my own opinion. Lyrics and vocals are really important to me. I'm a singer/ songwriter myself, so don't give me that crap. You don't have to say things like that,

First, take a bad singer (a cute boy who looks like a skinhead if possible).
Take also a mad drummer (if he can destroy the drums, it's alright).
Then take two dumbs playing the guitar like a mad cow (no need to teach them music, all they have to know is how to play the C Major and the G Major).
For the lyrics, write anything about a party next week or a girl you've just met.
Last thing but the most important : do not feed your singer for a week before a concert or a studio recording! He'll be prepared for singing. (yes, exactly, like the lions in the arena a few centuries ago)
Your new californian rock band is ok.
