Well, someone let me borrow APC's "Thirteenth Step" (I refused to buy it)...and so far it's not terrible...
...logically, I know that there is nothing revolutionary about this music and that it's just more moody, melodic pop-metal that has some arty elements that seek to raise it above most of the garbage that's out there...
...but why the hell does Maynard have to have such a great voice? He brings these less than brilliant, overly produced songs into the realm of something really beautiful just w/ his vocal delivery...I can't help it, I fucking love his voice...it's like a disease, it just creeps into you and begs you to like it, no matter how much you want to resist, it just sucks you in...
...it's just so well produced, and oh hell...I like it. :tongue:
This is why I put away my Tool records a year ago, lol.
