Motorhead: Overkill

overkill is awesome!
lookin forward to checking out their new album.

Listening to some tracks from a symphonic black metal band from Singapore, Meza Virs...found them looking up Latvian mythology.

They're actually quite decent...not revolutionary, but quite good, particularly the female vocalist. They might be a little too straightforward for some, but I like 'em. You can only order their album direct from the band through MySpace. I might get it. They have potential as their first small run album seems pretty good for a barely out there first release.

Not quite. It's hard enough to get him to go shopping on Christmas eve, much less get interested in traditional things like that.



Never heard of it, actually. I'm not that up on my heritage if it's a Latvian holiday of some sort.
