i've been on a crazy faith no more kick for the last week or so... i can't stop listening to their stuff...

and i think the live portishead album beats out their studio releases...

it's always funny until someone gets hurt... and then it's just hilarious...

I could care less if it's so-called "true" or not . Isegrim does not sound original to me & is therefore disappointing . Do you listen to anything else besides BM ? Trve & Kvlt eh ?

Personally I liked the s/t one better, although I also think Dummy is great. I sat in a car around Xmas in late 1994 so the DJ would tell me who sang what I later learned was "Sour Times". Many of the live versions of tunes blow away their studio counterparts.

Right now? Why, some actual metal!

I have a question for you chiron, I noticed in one of your other posts you spoke abouta bands vocals being 'sucky' as well. A band I believe uses death vocals as well.. Do you dislike death vocals, or just happen to dislike these vocalists?

Pentagram - Be Forewarned

On the contrary death metal probably is my favourite genre. The thing is that once I heard Unas the Slayer of the Gods nothing they did could top it. And their music though having great variations within a song, the songs themselves sound the same. Not that I have a problem with songs sounding alike either. Its just that they should be interesting enough to make me want more. And Nile never came close to doing that.
