yeah. depends on what sort of program you got. do you have winamp? that will do it. also try looking for free stuff on the internet at download.com for a program that will do it. They're usually pretty easy to use.

I use CDEx. It's free and works well.

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

ok I have an old version of winamp. so this might be slightly different.
Right click on Winamp and a menu will popup. I go to Options. then Preferences and then Plugins. Look Under Output. Note what plugin is selected now(should be Directsound) because you will want to change it back when you are done. I have a plugin called WMA output plugin. If you select that it should give you options about the quality of the mp3 and where the files will be put. and I think if you just select that plugin and close the window, now when you play the CD it should create mp3's of all the tracks in whatever folder on your computer you want. and after you are done with your mp3 needs you should go back to the menu and select the DirectSound plugin so it doesn't make mp3's everytime you use it.

that works on my winamp. I don't know if yours will be any different. hope that was clear.
if the other programs seem easier just use those

I'd say ditch winamp and get foobar but I'm sure it has too much for you if you don't know how to rip mp3s already.
