Best Blues instrument
What do you think is the instrument best suited to play Blues on? The guitar is obviously good, but there's not much that beats a well-played blues harp IMO. And some piano players have sent shivers through my spine too.

john lee hooker played the guitar, robert johnson played the guitar, blind lemon jefferson played the guitar so 1 + 1 +1 = THE GUITAR!

I think it must be the guitar. Or the bluesharp...I really love that instrument!!
But, yes, if I have to choose, it'll be the guitar, 'cause it's mostly used.

Being a keyboard player, I'm a bit biased in my opinion of Piano being the best Blues instrument -- yes, I know, I'm shameless...

Hey, there's nothing wrong with that! Better than everybody saying guitar is the best one. I heard some incredible Blues played on a piano or keyboard. Some pianist can really make me believe theirs is the best instrument for the Blues. And I play guitar.
By the way, what I really meant with my question is what can be done with an instrument, not what has been done the most.

I'd say guitar and piano.

The guitar is probably THE most important instrument in blues, but blues needs other instruments to complete it's sound. Drums and bass are obvious requisites, but blues is also helped out with instrument like the piano, 'harp and sax' (possibly borrowed from jazz).

Nonono! Not the sax!
I'm sorry, but the use of brass instruments in the Blues is one of the greatest mistakes they made. Harmonicas (or whatever you call them) are way cool though.

I disagree ... they can sound good if used right. Gratuitous solo's on any instrument can be annoying though.
