kazaa songs

Don't know if anyone else has noticed but on kazaa it seems when you search for songs off of a new album a lot are just like 10 second clips that start in the middle of the song, play for 10 seconds, then fade into silence and the rest of the track is just minutes of silence. I've been getting this a lot lately when i tryed to download the new story of the year album and a couple tracks off ludacris's new album. So the question that arises is are there ways to fix this or what, just looking for an explantion really.

I get the same, think it due to copyright protection perhaps that they puttin on new albums to stop u downloading, anyway i gave up and download elsewhere seems to only be a problem in Kazaa, wonder if any1 else has the answer?

I don't think you can do anything about it. I think it might also have something to do with people ripping a CD with audio protection and sharing it.

Go and buy a CD you cheap smartass
OK, OK

I don't think there's a way around this problem. Not yet anyway.
But I don't think it will be long before some brains crack the new copyright protection. It's just a matter of time.

People cracked it when it was first released...you can get programs which bypass the copy protection now if you wanted to.

Whats happening is the RIAA is releasing tons of false tracks, specifically to the most popular and new released songs. Sometimes you will get really annoying scratchy songs, this is done by RIAA trying to **** with kazaa users, and its working. So far, this is there best and only way of deturring people from downloading music with kazaa. They share songs that have been corrupted, so more people will download them, and then those people that have downloaded share them, and it branches out. Thats why you can look for a newly released song, and have to download 5 or 6 different ones before you get a legit one thats not corrupted, but if you download a song from the 80's, that wasnt very populare in the first place, youll only have to download once. My guess is theyve hired some kid to sit at his computer all day and corrupt tracks and release them onto kazaa, lol.
