Angry Going out of my mind!

I'm looking for this artist that never became famous. I heard her song on a demo put out by Columbia House I think. This is from the early '90's too. The beginning lyrics go something like this;

there's this picture of my life written from the pages of a magazine and maybe some commercial I've seen one too many times. But now the pictures even clearer though the visions not as good. I wanna see the face i should when i look in the mirror.

Please, for the love of music help me find it!!!!

What style of music is it? What does it remind you of? How is it sung? etc.

update

okay, the song has about the same tempo as Dido's "Thank you" but the music is a little more upbeat, not quite so mellow. Hope this helps you out.
Thank you

This may really help too!

Okay, I did a little investigating of my own and on the demo a songwritter named Diane Warren sang her song "Just to hear you say that you love me" before Faith Hill bought it and made it famous. I think this may help too.
