Aye, Stevie is great indeed.

I think we should add an ambient subgenre section to the Electronic forum... You wouldn't happen to have that power, would you Equinox?

well we had a drum n bass and IDM subgenre at one time, but Haakon took it away because he figured we didn't need it because it was slow for months, and now it's picked up, but i still doubt he would, if so, it would be great, but if you really would like it, go ahead and request it, i'm for it!

I'm listening to Robert Rich & Steve Roach - Iguana and I'm almost falling asleep, I wouldn't say it's bad, but ... err I'd like a little bit more diversion

You just listened to one track ? Give it a chance . Check out his Darkwave tracks - Setting course , Undershadow , Falling... , In the return of twilight , Inner Zone , Encounter passage , Strands & The magnificent void etc... I don't think you'll find those boring .

I'm not so keen on the tribal aspect of what he does but some of the drone stuff is superb and strongly reminds me of 'On Land' by Brian Eno

Also in a similair vein check out Jeff Greinke on Hypnos Records or a UK guy called Prospector although he's a bit more electronica based sort of a touch of Thomas Koner and Robert Lippok in the mix as well.
