Album collecting

A lot of friends just have a bunch of mp3 files to play. I always have the most fun when I have a complete album to play. Lots of time I rent albums from the library, sometimes download (but quality is not always satisfactory) and I even have my own cd's in an mp3 version on my pc.

Are there more people that have more fun playing music when they have the whole album.?

BTW: I use a special player for it which also show the covers. I got it from http://www.albumplayer.com

I usually buy or borrow whole cds. I don't like mp3s that much. I need the whole album experience like yourself.

I like having a whole album but I tend to avoid downloading whole albums. I'll download songs to test the band/album and if I like it I'll buy it.

I like the whole album experience best.

Cool

I also prefer albums to just individual songs. I even kept a lot my old 70's vinyl records 'cause I couldn't find those albums on CDs.

I believe in the strength of the albums in real music,
songs and bands/artists are overrated...

i'm really serious!!

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

The only people that care about single songs are the ones that don't care about music all that much, they just want a dumb little melody to hum in their head.
