8 hrs, and I don't have the money...plus its at the empty bottle...if it was a bigger venue, I possibly would make the trip, i just hated how small the place was and how loud it was...wasn't the place for me

I am sorry Josh. I totally understand the way you feel about the empty bottle. I feel the same way, but they do have a lot of cool bands playing there.
but I think I am gonna skip prefuse 73 this time. I saw him last time when he opened for amon tobin. his music just could not turn me on.
kid koala is coming to chicago soon too, I wonder if I should go. and I just found out he is from hongkong, chinese canadian or something. now that explains why he had a song called empire's new dish, which consists of bunch of people reciting names of dishes in cantonese.

I missed him a couple times in Baltimore last summer. Hopefully it'll come around again. I was just listening to One Word Extinguisher last night.
You got any recommendations for other electronic hip-hop type stuff? I try and leech new bands off of anybody I can find that likes it.

Machine Drum's "Now you Know" is a prime example of cutup hip hop that will most likely suit your love for it...
