His music is great, but the things he does are disgusting. He has kids sleep in the same bed with him everynight, he has his own theme park and gets little kids from their to play with at his house, and his face WOW. I saw him in an interview and he said he only had 2 surgeries in a life time, look at his face and tell me thats true.

I wish I were half as talented.
I took my wife to see him at wembley and he truly is a master of his trade. I have seen hundreds of bands in my 45yrs, many big names in venues large and small. As a sound engineer and hobby musician, I have worked with lots of talented people and I have to say that Micheal is Talented!. He had the audience eating out of his hand from the moment he made his entrance. And he kept us there for the entire show. His timing (and that of the band and dancers) was immaculate. The drama he eaked out of simple props such as a chair and a suitcase, not to mention his use of a simple spot light, is legendary. Sheakspear would marvel at the suspence and feelings he excuded.
As for his weirdness, you only have to look at his life to see how unbalanced he may have become.
(I say may becouse as said above, he is a master of his trade. Show business!
Any publicity is good publicity and Michael knows how to play to the public.
You and I may aspire to become great at what we do. We may dream of becoming rich and famous. But if you have all that before you reach your teens, your childhood has been spent on the road and you're prevented from mixing with anybody. Your dad beats you. What would you long for?
A normal life isn't an option.
Plastic surgery? He lives in a country where nose jobs are given as birthday presents to 12yr olds.
Go figure.
He leaves himself wide open to the paperatzzi slime by craving contact from the outside world and gold diggers lurk everywhere.
Personally I feel sorry for him but, love him or hate him, you have to admire him.

I absolutly love Michael and HoTRocK said it all! I can't believe there are so many people out there that can say he's a wierdo etc so easily and quickly. You don't know him and never will, you can't judge someone on such serious situations without knowing the person, it's ridiculous and rather narrow-minded. There are obviously issues he has to deal with that make him differ from you and I but really can you blame him? No.

I don't like him personally but I do like a couple of early albums by him. Nothing in the last 20 years though...

oh yes because having an opinion that happens to be the same as other peoples is conformism. Get yourself a dictionary.

I'll need a dictionary to lookup words like "conformism".
The crowd being the public. You either love MJ or hate him.
Public= hate him
Fans= love him.

you're forgetting a wide majority of people who just don't really care either way for a washed up pop star... it's not love or hate... it's ambivalence... you've said it yourself he's released 2 songs in the last 8 years... his albums have been lacking... blaming sony for his downfall only shows just how much he counted on them to make his career...
