Anyway, I don't see how whining implies you are rich or spoiled for that matter.

Rich/spoiled have nothing to worry about.
They don't have to worry about the life of their loved ones being gone in a second...have to worry constantly about drive-bys...worry about how you're gonna eat your next meal...how your future is going to turn out...being abused by ignorant parents...so on.

whining doesn't solve anything neither. but anger can make someone smash something that's good to look at sometimes.

I love emo kids, they have lots of "DRAMA" to share!

rich people have worries too, even more so than poor people.

they have to worry about how to spend more time on other crap instead of with their kids/loved ones, they have to worry about how to stay rich and do nothing at the same time, they have to worry about if they are hip and trendy when in fact they have no taste in anything, they have to worry about if they are gonna get steak dinner or lobster dinner or both, they have to worry about when how to spend their trust fund, and tell their parents to fock off unless they need more money, on and on and on...

emo is funny...

a bunch of kids playing instruments (most likely making good money if they are on tv or radio) and whining about their lives.

I'm not into it. I don't feel like listening to people cry, if I wanted to become depressed I'd go downtown.

Where do you say i should put it, there is no emo catagory. and i really dont think it goes in rock or metal. personally i dont like emo but it dosnt bother me to listen to but i would never put a cd of it in

Well I like emo and yea this is the only forum that theres a sense to put it in, i relate to it so i listen to it, simple as that. I can't relate to metal or anything like that and i like the simplicity of it, pop roots mayb in some bands but whatever. But as far as *****ing about the rich goes is just jealousy, im a spoiled kid and i don't cry to any1, my parents worked their ****ing asses off to make it this way and i think you'd give your kids the best you could also if you had the cash, what are they supposed to do, stash it away so it rots? We don't ***** and we don't have as many problems as other people but is that a bad thing? Whatever this is about emo so ill just see where this goes.

I agree that it would not go in Rock or Metal . Punk is the closest to the Emo genre .

I am personally quite a mellow person. I rarely get angry, but this is about music, and if you like whining vocal good luck to ya.

If am listening to music that is singing about things that piss me off or things that piss the band off I would rather hear angry aggressive music that whinning. I am sure that the band members themselves are not actually angry people, they are probably just releasing their frustrations with the world through their music.

I never said that whinning implies that you are rich or poor, I just said that EMO singers remind me of "whinning, rich, spoilt, kids" because like the whinning of rich spoilt brats the whinning of EMO bands really piss me off. This does not mean that I think that all rich people whine or all rich peole are brats or anything other than some of them do and they remind me of EMO singers which pisses me off which makes me want to listen to some good punk rock.
