i know what emo is but morrisey has the same whiney attitude. a populaire trait in emo is they hold this general sought after perfect girl in super high respect and the lyrics are always like "im so dumb and bad but your so smart and good" seriously if you listen to a lot that is there approach to whoever they are singing to. morrissey is the same

i dont really have any thoughts on emo, other than for the past 5 minutes ive enjoyed being it.

that emo thing seems to be just a new kind of experiment for you. the truth is that you aren't a real emo yet. dress like emo, think like emo, act like emo...

...and one day you will be able to call yourself an emo and to be proud of it!

Emo is the gayest crap on the planet. Men should not whear their sisters pants and men should not cut their hair to make them look homosexual. Nor should they like men, its a fact. Men are supposed to like women, not men.
Oh, and by the way, Emo doesnt not stand for "Emotive Hardcore". (First of all, hardcore doesnt not describe emo gayness, though they are hardcore in their homosexuality)

Can't stand it, and I agree with most of the negative opinions expressed about it.

I love it, there are so many amazing bands from this genre. I don't find the lyrics to be "whiney" and things either, I just listen to the genius in the writing and enjoy the music for what it is. Bands that really should be given more of a listen to in this genre though are Letter Kills, furtherseemsforever, Biffy Clyro, armsbendback, Emery, Fighting Jacks etc. I could list them all day!
