You know you are generalising things a hell of a lot here. I know a lot of people who like Jackson as a musicain but not as a man.

It's also a lame excuse for him to not make music anymore. Like you said, he has donated millions of dollars to charity and his house is a theme park, don't you think he would have enough money to record his own material?

You are also contradicting yourself a fair bit. An example of this is when you said that his new material was great and when we said it wasn't you replied by saying he only has two songs out and how can you judge him on that.

Sorry for some of the things I said before but you were rubbing me the wrong way...

He does, he owns the right to his own music, the Beatles and has his OWN recording company for people such as his nephews 3T.
I may have misuderstood what you said though?

I know I said his new music is great, I didn't just mean the music he has released, but the music he wasn't allowed to release because of Sony.

Songs like:
"Whatever Happens", "Break of Dawn", "Xscape" to name a few.

I am only trying to back up my opinions and my points, not trying to be a trouble-maker: which Sammo immediately labelled me.

I personally love his stuff from the 80's and such. After History I thought it went downhill. so as a musician I think overall he is, as they say "the king of pop" but he's kinda past his prime.

as for MJ the man. well I don't know the guy. and I really don't care all that much. he doesn't inspire me or touch me on a personal level (what pop star would?) I just dig some of his music.

and it is wierd that he looks like an alien now. I mean he's a freak show. I feel sorry for the dude.

He isn't a freak show, he's the same person he was 20 years ago and he's never changed on the inside.

"Off the Wall" and "Thriller" were classic, maybe a few of "bad"....but he''s not the same man now he once was. He's a child molester. For me, I find it impossible to seperate the man from the music. Any musician, no matter how great and talanted, is still just a human being. A few years ago he paid off the family of that little boy so he wouldn't have to face criminal charges. An honest man has nothing to fear, so he'd basically admitting guilt. That little boy had the dirt on him, and he needed to come off of tens of millions to keep himself from goin' to prison. He woulda been killed in prison the first day......

I'll never respect the man again. I think it's ironic that "human Nature' is his best song (my opinion) and he's such a sick-o! And that interview he did with that Martin Brashear guy just made him look even worse. He didn't understand that it was "inappropriate"
to sleep with other people's children. Jackson just kept sayin' that people were havin' the wrong ideas, but he couldn't understand the "concern" other people had for their kids. What a fool.......The 2 words that come to mind when I hear Michael Jackson is "talented" and "inappropriate"..........

Well, spacemanspiff - your I comment "I really don't care all that much" speaks to your closemindedness on the subject. Your tag line is interesting considering your unwillingness to act on it. You may think he's a freak show - but I don't agree. I'm sorry he has a skin condition that people expect him to be able to control. He can't.... he just can't no matter how cruel people are to him about it.. And I hardly expect understanding about it based on the views I've seen posted here. I've taken time to look up information on Michael in order to come to my own conclusions about him. I met black people aflicted with vitilego it quite some time ago so was aware of it before MJ came down with it. So it's common knowledge that he was teased harshly about his nose, and still is. We should deffinately continue to hammer away at him about it - the chink in his armor - where we know we can hit him where it hurts right? Oh MICHAEL, we hate your nose and if you change it we'll certainly be sure to give you even more grief. We're always here to remind you you're not one of us - we wont let you be and we'll tease you unmercifully because you're not. How mean people are never ceases to amaze me. But what amazes me the most is even IF you had the guts to say some of this crap directly to his face - he'd still tell you he loves you anyway. If I had to choose I'd stand with Michael any day. Not because he's a great artist but because he's a great person. If I could pick only one single person in the entire world to be my friend it would be him. Simply because I know he'd always always be there - always be true. Not something that comes around often.

Would a "sicko" or a "child molesteror" really think it's a wise thing to hold hands with a 12 year old cancer-patient on TV?

Oh please.. This hardly deserves a reply, IF he was a child molester don't you think more than one person would accuse him by now? Bashir opened the door as wide as it gets - shoot -you could take a semi through it sideways he opened it so wide - for ANYONE to come accuse him if they wanted to. The silence speaks for itself. Come on - easy target like that, even the flimsiest thing would've been jumped on and still nothing but the sound of crickets..

Oh, please!!!! It's a pathetic attempt to gloss over his image as it relates to children. Gimme a break!!! So, if he's had inappropriate contact with children it's okay cause' he gives to charity?!? His reputation is ruined forever......
