I like that last one also, and even though I'm a little late for this one this is something small I wrote last night:

Simple, plain, but try to evolve the "star" into someone you want to spend time with, someone you care for, a new love.

Something I wrote yesterday

That was my first letter to you
written in blue and royal blood
across a night sky with black clouds
and you wrote back the next night
with a shot of lightning and a splash of rain
and the next night we decided to jump
so we ran across our roofs
distant dreamers dwindling
and leaped at the end to fall to our doom
but instead of falling we float upwards onwards
our hearts see each other in the distant mists
so we flew up and across and on to distant lands
our patient eyes saw hope in each other
so they stared at each other and flew across the dark
splitting the cold night air with love
shy but excited souls followed our eyes
we streaked across the night toward each other

all asleep as darkness vanishes
an evil man walks down main street
and is shot down into a grave of mist
the children dance around the fire until their eyes are weary
the good ones walk on by themselves by morning
they find higher mountains and faster rivers
joy spreads through the hearts of all
ancestors come by ship and train and foot
wine and smoke fill the halls of celebration
good sounds simmer around the harbor walls
the waves steady splashing sets the tone of hope
young lovers are content with each other
praying to the sky as a fearless feather in the wind
the music welcomes good friends back again
and we go across the vast oceans to find each other
