oh does he ever! its the big band sound of jazz mixed with his own flavour which makes it so much better...my theory with him is Start with drum n'bass/jazz (bricolage, permutation) and then move on to the spacey programming that he does today (supermodified, out from out where)...great artist that many people tend to overlook....

I don't think people overlook amon tobin. last time I went to his concert, the place was packed! I think he is very well known among electronic listeners.
nah, Josh, you don't have to do a special request from that person who has Sun Pandaemonium. I probably just get it later.
I agree. I honestly don't listen to noise everyfreakingday. but when I want to listen to it, it is a great release for me, specially if you want to scare your neighbors

hehe, i was gonna get it anyway, he's underrated down here  I've heard good things about the Hecker album, and i don't think its just your everyday minimal screeching noise either, but that's the Mego label, quite varied...
also Pita's "Get Out" it something worth listening to...

well, if that's the case, I will put that Hecker album down in the list and you can burn it whenever you receive it.
oh, also, I burned 70 minutes of madness last nite. I checked the recorded copy and there is no break in between tracks!
what? eat a pita?

hehe, huh... you can get it via eMule. They're lots of sources.
(if warez is not allowed here, feel free to delete this sentence...)
I really don't know a lot about electronic music, because I got into it with someone through the internet: he was listening to NIN, so was I. Then we tried to listen to more experimental and electronic music. He listened to AphexTwin. I also listened a lot to Afx and Boards of Canada (I love BOC). then I talked to him about Autechre, and we discovered they were the gods of music, hehe.
Now I really dig IDM, and I try to find more & more.
And as I was surfing on the web, I found these "Venetian Snares" musics... hehe
So, the link of the video is here: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/weirdnet/wtm...nd_candace.wmv
(actually, you have to clic & clic specific images to access the link, )

the "gods of music" would be quite a prestigious title for the duo, but I do agree they are "god-like" when it comes to electronic music...or at least the startings of the experimental/IDM type music (disregarding the experimentations of the early pioneers of the 30's-present)
really dig IDM eh? If you want to know about something, just let me know, if I don't know, I know I can find out

Josh, what the???
anyway, I was saying:
pig, thanks for the link to the actual find candace video. it must have been a b!tch to edit that video. the videography can also be benefited from having the camera on a tripod as well. but all in all, it is good.
I am glad that thomas guy who did the video knows how to do actual editing. I have seen some pretty horrible videos with Vsnare's style of music. some of them images don't match the beats. some of them are just painfully boring.
