The song I'm looking for uses a sample from the movie "Blue Velvet" - with the character Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper's Character)... The actual sample is:

"A ride. Now that's a good idea." (and other excerpts from that same scene in the movie).

I also think (not sure) that there was another sample (not from the movie) of a woman who shouts:

"Throw your hands up.... in the air!"

I've been searching for this one for YEARS.

Oh yeah - the song I'm looking for (w/the Blue Velvet movie sample in it) came out right about the same time as another techno song (which I can't remember the title of at the moment)) that sampled these two choice items:

1. Richard Dawson's character from the Arnold Schwarzanegger movie "Running Man." The sample is Richard Dawson shouting "Who Loves you, and who do you love?" And "We're not through with you! It's time to start..... RUNNING!"

2. a clip from This Mortal Coil's song "Song to the Siren" where a woman sings:
Did I dream
You dreamed about me?

Oh, Snap! I just remembered the title to the above song: Temple of Dreams by Messiah - found it on my iPod.

Anyway, the Messiah song came out about the same time as the mystery track I'm looking for (the song that samples the Blue Velvet clip).
