I don't think you should delete it b/c no one here is being forced to answer. It's not too personal of a question, but if some people find it that way, then they don't have to answer. They can choose to ignore it. Personally, I said no b/c I have never tried anything, not even smoking cigarettes. I know most of the popular rockers do. Hell, most of the older musicians do/did. It's no big deal. I don't condemn anyone for living the way they choose. It's not my body I'm messing up, though I don't exactly think drugs are a smart choice, if ya know what I mean.

i think that drugs should be used for special occasions, and in moderation, like fine wines or cigars. If they someday legalize drugs in the US, i would like to see a responsible culture develope that accepts that people use drugs, and people would enjoy drugs at receptions and parties and weddings, not just every weekend to make you forget about how dull your life is and get high. At least thats my ker-azy idea.
to answer the question, i do smoke weed but hope to never move up to dangerous stuff like PCP or XTC.

I can't say i want drugs to be legalized, because for firsts, they really mess your brain and organs up, and then they just make you act really, really stupid. Enough of my friends were potheads (my dad was too much of a military stickler to let me do something like that) that i see there's really no point to it- they're just stupid when they're high. And other drugs have such drastically bad long-term effects, why the hell do them? It's beyond silly.

Well, 20 years ago my reply would have been "all the time"... But I have not had any in over 13 years (or alcohol)... I don't feel that I went through a drug phase because I was immature.. I gave it up for different reasons.. I would be lying if I said I didn't really enjoy drugs at one time.. I really did.. I tried many kinds but was pretty much just a pot and hash user... Morphine was a drug I really enjoyed as well,, but I was smart enough not to try it very often and get hooked... I never tried heroin because I was afraid I would like it too much...

well, as a 15 year old, you better hope i don't do it overly often!! i don't actually know what's the most 'hardcore' drug i've had seeing as it was given to me thinking it was only a joint...when there was really something else in it - i was overly out of it (it was at Big Day Out actually). otherwise it's the occasional weed and alcohol...normal tennager stuff...and i'm a smoker...geez, i can't be in good health.

First, I wanna say that I respect people that don't do drugs, cause' it takes courage and it shows a huge commitment to be healthy in body and mind. That's great and all but........
I HATE when I hear (sober) people talk about people being "stupid" for using them or "acting stupid" while on them. I've got several friends whose parents smoke a little pot now and then, and they run corporations, and are doctors and lawyers. Are they stupid?
No.
Sober people that look down on people who use drugs and alcohol suck, and even though I get high now and then, I'm sure I'm at least on their level if not above. First of all, drugs are the icing on the cake, not the cake itself. You can't just sit around and do drugs, but rewarding yourself after drawing a picture, or working hard all day is just fine. You owe it to you to do what you wanna do. It's like all substances, you have to be responsible. Do any of you "sober"people drink coffee? That's a drug. TV/food/ciggaretts.....all drugs. It's being responsible that sets me apart from "druggies"......
I'm an artist and a musician, and Marijuana just goes with those two like peanuts go with both beer and chocolate. I can certainly enjoy both without drugs, but drugs make it even more fun, and I feel like I can appreciate them on a different level. (I'm not sayin' a higher level, cause that's a bad pun, and I'm not implying that I'm better than the "normals" that enjoy those things while sober)

nicely said homeless cop, and I titally agree with you. I can enjoy a bit of pot myself sometimes (well, who wouldn't if you can get it cheap and it's legal here, hehe), but I never go too far. That's the most important thing in life. It goes from sugar, candy, coffee, everything, don't overdo it, and it won't kill you.
I think it's pretty "normal" to smoke a joint once in a while.

That'd be cool if they made coffee that was clear, so your teeth wouldn't get stained.....
