hey Kate, nice to see you posting in this section other than Introduce Yourself.

what is this "White Box Requiem for the Blue Corpse "?? I did a search on google and all I found is this guy jandek who plays an accoutic guitar and sings on his albums. I am not sure if that's the guy you were talking about...

anyway, what bands are on that compilation? if you can tell us, we probably can give you better recommandations.

this link will take you to the track list of The Miracle Of Levitation compilation from gentle Giant records, but they went out of business in 2002...

http://www.japanimprov.com/yotomo/gr...o/miracle.html

here is a little description of that compilation:
Equisite and difficult music from the U.S. and Japan. Ambient soundscapes, densely textured constructions, and noise from: Ground Zero, Jim O'Rourke, Ruins, Melt-Banana, U.S. Maple, James Plotkin, Otomo Yoshihide, Akiyama-Sugimoto, liminal, Xome, Cult Junk Cafe, Uchihashi Kazuhisa, Tsunoda Tsuguto, Pencilneck, 7000 Dying Rats, The Flying Luttenbachers, TV Pow, Lumbar Trio, Altered States, and Yasuhiro Ohtani.

but TV Pow is still around.

http://www.tvpow.net/purchase.htm

I have another one called Dissolved from Fifth Colvmn Records. that one is good too.
