Dave Mustaine SUCKS! Why do you think he didnt play for Metallica for very long.
I Agree that Kirk and James are excellent partners, but they need to test themselves by creating some really kickass riffs and pushing themselves to their climax.

holy crap... he didn't play in metallica for long because he could outdrink hetfield and proved it all the time... not because he couldn't play... listen to ANY megadeth song compared to a metallica song and it's clear who the superior guitarist is (especially once mustaine sobered up)...

He didnt play for Metallica for too long because he wasnt afraid to speak his mind and kick Hetfields ass when he was needing it. Dave Mustaine sucks? Obviously you dont know too much about guitar players.

Hendrix and Page usually top my list, but when it comes to metal I like Zack Wylde, Dimebag Darrel, and Dave Murray. Kirk Hammets good too but he didnt write his own solos till the black album, so I'd have to day Zack Wylde.

Dimebag Darrell is a fag who ruined pantera for dissing Phil, phil was the heart and soul of that band and was kicked to the curb by to gay brothers. My guess: Their new band will be immensely overrated.

Wow. What a total dumbass. Phil was always my least favorite of the group. Dimebag and Vinnie were both very supportive of Phil's side projects, and he screwed them over. I have the Damageplan CD and it kicks total ass. Down and Superjoint ritual are the shitty bands.

Dick. First off, Peter Frampton has and always will have better riffs that Darrell. Also i hear Frampton and Phil are starting a new band which will be twice the band Damage plan is. Suck my penis.
