In the end, what we have are these little, great moments. They come and they go. That's as good as it gets. But, still, isn't that great?

My buddy thought that Clapton was singing "Layla, you got my cup tea".

When I first heard ZZ Top's "Sleeping Bag," I thought he said "Supersonic sleeping bag" instead of "Slip inside my sleeping bag." It seemed to make sense at the time.
My girlfriend stil thinks that lyrics to "Sharp Dressed Man" are "Every girl's crazy 'bout a shy best man" instead of "Every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man."

I still think that Soundgarden's "Spoonman" is about whacking-off:
"Feel the rhythm with your hands"
"Spoonman, come together with your hands"
"All my friends are brown and red, Spoonman"
"They beat the rhythm with their bones"
And then the entire bridge is filled with moans and the "spoon" sound, and the repeated phrase, "C'mon while I get off...." (I'm not sure if I that would be "come on", so I'll let you decide.)

I Mother Earth - One More Astronaut.
I could never figure out this part (the real lyrics):
Quote:
Then it hit me, this
Cosmic pull and energy

I always thought he said something along the lines of "Cosmic Porn"...well, I suppose I didn't think that was correct, but I REALLY think it sounds like that. I've spent many a wasted seconds wondering what exactly this "Cosmic Porn" might be like.

I used to think that the song Trains by Porcupine Tree was a nice song about trains but apparently its about a psycho guy who tortures his relative, but her screams are drowned out by the sound of the passing train.
