Any new Industrial music?

Am I in the dark here, or what? Has there been any new, and original industrial music lately, or has it been nothing but this techno fag shit parading around on the goth club scene under the banner of "industrial"?

Seriously, if you've come across anything cool lately, please share on this thread (my CD collection is getting stale).

you are right brainsaw, the industrial genre is quite dead.

have you heard of Hecate? Hecate did a collaboration with Lustmond(ex-Zoviet France) and that EP is very enjoyable. it is not exactly industrial, but the sound of the drums is quite industrial. it is like industrial beats done in the breakcore style with heavy horror movie atmosphere and samples.

calling Hecate industrial is like calling Venetian Snares ambient :tongue: me likes Lustmord...I'm listening to a wide variety of sounds these days...from symphonic to industrial, and me likes a lot! god, I sound ignorant

I see you are trying to cover a lot of ground in electonic music and other genres. so much music so little time and money

no, hecate is not industrial, no, but that particular EP does sound like industrial beats done in the breakcore style with heavy horror movie atmosphere and samples.

that's the only reason why I mentioned it. I don't mean to confuse people. my bad!

I haven't come across anything new in the "industrial" scene. A large portion of it is crap. I think Frontline Assembly is still going strong and I think they have a new album out. Other than that, the older industrial looks like the cream of the crop. You can only do so much with industrial before it starts sounding redundant.

Hey, I downloaded a song a while ago from Hellbent, and it sounds pretty good. I'm not sure if that's the kind of sound you're looking for though, but it's worth checking out.

Yeah, the song I have is called "3 murders, 3 nights"
It has a funky bass line, and it's not the typical hard edged bad vocals sound. I believe they are on Invisible.

Industrial's going thru a quiet period... FLA, cEvin and so forth aren't doing too much.

I'm pretty proud of my own industrial-esque track 'Deny' - I produce under the name of Digital Slave (used be known as SephXI) so check Kazaa, sometimes its floating around on there
