Sorry, didn't mean to cause offence, just registered on the site and found a post by a mate of mine completely at random.

Indeed!

'ello Tim!

But back on topic, I'm just waiting for the new Converter and Gridlock to arrive now and then I've got to rest on the whole CD buying bit till next year!!

The new curse of the golden vampire (ex-Godflesh) is supposed to be excellent too but I haven't heard it yet!!

Last golden vampire album is very good indeed. Drum and bassy in places, but very godflesh like.........

hmm.. thanx for this thread I guess
(revisiting after a couple weeks)

I picked up the curse of the golden vampire cd after seeing it here based on my addiction with all things Godflesh/Techno Animal

It wasn't really until track 8 that I heard
any real blatant d&b.. but VERY angry
per usual with Justin.. the description
of scum n bass or having more ties
to Napalm Death days is pretty apparent on the first portion of the disc

not what I expected.. I was hoping for
a little more of the drum n bass influence, but definitely worth buying I think

Yeah Industrial is at kind of a stale period...which hopefully shouldnt last for much longer (fingers crossed) I thought there for a while back in like 2000 that it was gonna jump the pop train with all that VNV Nation, Covenant bullshit but thank Jeebus that subsided! One must remeber that Industrial is as much a blanket genre as just saying "Rock". There are quite a number of sweet acts out there that may not be noticed as much as they should. With this in mind I suggest:

Config.Sys
Oil 10
Aural Blasphemy
Antigen Shift
Asche
Batz Without Flesh (not new, actually really old, but good nonetheless)
Celluloid Mata
Feindflug
Dioxyde
5F_55
Proyecto Mirage
Muslimgauze (In case there are still some in the dark to Bryn's genius that is Muslimgauze)
Oneiroid Psychosis (Fantasies is their best, although I havent hears Stilbirth)

As far as HellBent is concerned I have one of their albums and I really like the one that goes "C-H-R-O-M-E-D... Hellbent will set you free..."
