last cd i picked up was a compilation... the girl from impanema - the anotio carlos jobim songbook... half the songs are covers the others are his... pretty good mellow brazilian samba jazz... the oscar peterson track is amazing... the stuff with stan getz needs no real mention... but some of the more vocal tracks aren't really my fancy... like the songs by sarah vaughn and ella fitzgerald... but i've always been more about music and less about lyrics...

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

hey Bora, how is that CD? I was kinda disappointed with Sound of Water, a bit dull for my taste. I heard that they are totally going back to making pop tunes on Finisterre, which hasn't come out in the states yet...

it is on the turn @the moment,
so far i found this album quite easylistening,
relaxing with fresh rhythms,
what strange is that it covers a wide range of genres
possible to call some kind of bland with
intellectual/funky/jazzy/chilling out/dance
enhanced by blowing vocals,
but unfortunately settled on the commercial minded pop base IMHO..
worth purchasing?? still on thinking for a proper y/n reply

no, no, i don't..
as far as i heard Good Humor is an album of indie-pop,
again a fine blend of different styles.
sinful pop -> ahh that's good, Evil,
i'll check it this weekend,
after i'v got we can compare it out..

bora, good humor is indie pop? I am not sure how accurate the description it is. but one thing for sure is that good humor got some soap opera like, pretty depressing lyrics mixed with the sugary pop sound from 60's and 70's. and that's what makes it so good for me.

yeah, if you happen to purchase good humor this weekend, let me know what you think.

The last album I got was Aesop Rock (labor days)
I'm going to get Nasum's newest album of crusty Swedish grindcore. Nasum almost sounds like 2 evil cartoon characters have a really fast heavy metal band. The cookiemonster on cocaine!
