Don't expect to hear some major difference. It's only someone that knows the music and even knows there was an issue that will notice it.

It's not like the major pitch problem that occured with the Charlie Parker's Complete Dial/Savoy box that came out a couple years ago. Half of the 4th cd's tracks sounded like the Chipmunks on speed.

Even someone who had never heard the music or the musicians before would have known something had to be wrong. Unless that person happened to be a fan of the Chipmunks on speed.

Definitely expect something different with that album. Very groovy with old/new sounds mixed together. I have the 12" and a cd-r copy of the cd. Get the cd if you can, it has a few extra tracks.

I just picked up G.Love's The Hustle and The Tipping Point by The Roots . Both are really good--can't stop listening to them. I also just ordered both of the Patiokings discs; I can't wait for them to arrive--the samples on their site are amazing.
