Went ahead and bought Velvet Revolver's Contraband. I just love Slash.

I finally got around to buying the collaboration between Neurosis and Jarboe...it's not as immediately rewarding as I'd hoped, but it's hardly a waste of money...there are some wonderful moments and it's an enjoyable listen throughout...I just wouldn't consider it among the best works of either, but it's not bad...and as far as these types of collaborations go, I'd say Jarboe and Neurosis are a perfect fit, about as logical as Mike Patton and Dillinger Escape Plan were...overall, I'd give it a B rating...

Getting around to some older albums now. Picked up Pink Floyd's "Relics", Jackson Browne "Late For The Sky", Tom Waits "Heart Attack & Vine" and also A Perfect Circle's "Mer De Noms."

Why don't you reach down in my pocket and see what it is
Then grab onto it, it's just for you
Give a little squeeze and say, "How do you do?"

There's something in my front pocket

Undermind by Phish (highly recommended, Phish-heads!)
Relayer by Yes (the Rhino reissue--vastly improved sound!)
Baptism by Lenny Kravitz (and if you like Lenny's best work, you'll like this a lot--don't let the critics scare you.)
Into The Mystery by David Wilcox (one of the last great singer-songwriters--a fine album, as usual with this guy.)
