There is a new Exploited collection - Twenty Five Years of Anarchy and Chaos - reviewed in the June edition of Record Collector. It has 24 tracks, taking in the early stuff and a selection of later material right up to Beat the Bastards and Fuck the System.

Yes, the BBC's primetime chart show, broadcast on the main national TV channel every week since 1964. You wouldn't have thought they would have agreed to go on, unless they were planning something.

Anyway, I tried Googling for this, and found a reference to Wattie Buchan taking a fancy to one of TOTP's in-house female dance troupe (before everyone had videos, if they couldn't get the band into the studio the dancers would 'interpret' the song...it was the reason a lot of fathers watched with their kids. ) Apparently he spent the whole day chasing her around the TV studios. The performance is also supposed to have been pretty outrageous, but I'm interested to know what actually got them banned.
