Pixies - Surfa Rosa/Come on Pilgrim
Pixies - Trompe le Monde (heard they were coming to town, so I have to learn my pixology)
Probot - I'm not a real metalhead, but I love this album (after 2 listens). Grohl is the man!

And, as it's my sister's birthday on Thursday, I bought her:
Jimmy Hendrix - Are you experienced?
Tool - Opiate

I've already got Doolittle...and it is good.

Probot...I don't know, I don't really know metal, so I can't comment on how it compares. There are some great tracks, but then there are some that aren't so great. Overall, though, it's very listenable...One thing I noticed was the drumming on some songs isn't mixed very well, I don't think.

Surfer Rosa is way better

Ok Doolittle contains most of the best-known Pixies songs, but Bossanova and Trompe Le Monde are far more consistent... though the individual songs might be a bit less great...

Portals Of Grace, by Azam Ali.

Such a beautiful album. It's interpretations of a selection of medival songs and stuff like that. I loved the Vas album, Garden Of Souls, which is Azam Ali and Greg Elllis together, so Portals of Grace was my next choice and a great choice. I'm very happy!!

Immigrant Song, Stairway to Heaven, Trampled Underfoot, Black Dog, Achilles Last Stand, Houses Of The Holy. Yes, it kicks ass.
Buy it, you know you want to.
