that william s. burroughs cd is a bunch of tape cut-ups done by him and ian sommerville. It is surreal and funny.

the cd was released by Sub Rosa, a belgium label. and a lot of the stuff actually came from the kenneth spencer research library at the university of kansas, where he was a honorary professor of the english department.

William S. Burroughs can also be found on R.E.M.'s Best Of 1988-2003 edition if you get the two CD set. He speaks the lyrics to Star Me Kitten. Talk about surreal.

I'd play it on my station but I don't know if it might not frighten people away....though I myself laughed through most of it. I thought it was funny.
