ahh, you got One word Extinguisher! what you think about it? Extinguished comes out in August, it's songs that didn't make it on the OWE album, I can't wait for that...

i picked up 2 cds today...

the cinematic orchestra - man with a movie camera - i'm still in the first listen but so far it's great... seems to be all instrumental unlike last year's full length... i'd still like to find their 'motion' album someday...

i also got Kyuss's - ...and the circus leaves town - their last album... haven't listened to it yet... i like everything else they've released... i don't have doubts on this one... although from what i've read it doesn't improve much on their earlier stuff...

-next day update- heheh...

so i just finished listening to that kyuss album... while it doesn't really expand their sound like the jump between 'blues for the red sun' and 'welcome to sky valley' it's still a great frikkin album... anyone who likes sabbath should look into this band if they haven't already...

i purchased on Saturday:

Audioslave - Audioslave
Kent - Hagnesta Hill
Fugazi - Red Medicine

(Fugazi is by chance indeed
and i still couldn't warm up with their tune,
i know their reputation so in brief but
need some frank comments..)

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

yeah, fugazi, my exgirlfriend was a pretty big fan. I went to their concert way back in the early 90's and I didn't like their songs all that much even though I have respect for what they are doing.

yeah, i still feel the same way as you.
it happens to some other artists and bands,
you dont like their works
but never deny to give a respect...
(Dylan, Beatles, Led Z., Deep Purple, Patti Smith, Elvis Costello, etc....)

I wish I had a local 2nd hand store that sold cheap CD's. The only ones I know of sell all the good CD's at about $5 less than retail price...no fair!

Looks like you picked up some pretty good CD's there boRa!
