why not? there are many two piece bands... the White Stripes, Dresden Dolls, Ruins, Steely Dan (although if they ever played live, they probably had extra people on stage), Pinback, the Eurythmics,...

All sh8te except Eurythmics if you ask me.
No, I meant REAL bands where each member plays instruments, know what I mean? One plays bass and sings, the other one plays guitar and the other guy is the drummer. Who played drums in Eurythmics?

I guess they had a drum machine for that... not every band needs a full line up with drummer, bass, guitar and singer anyway, it would be boring if all bands had the same line-up!

As opposed to fake ones?
Just picked up:
Maeror Tri - The Singles
Throbbing Gristle - TG24
I'm a latecomer with the last one, but I can't say that I care. As it turns out, it was worth it.

I love the Moldy Peaches. You definetely have to like lo-fi for them.
Some of their great songs:
Steak for Chicken (with the great line "Who mistoke the steak for chicken, who my gonna stick my dick in....").
Downloading Porn with Davo.
