Iron & Wine is great... what's a good starting point for Front 242?

You're right, Iron and Wine are superb, they really do remind me of Simon and Garfunkel, gone a bit miserable. Much better than the wildly hyped Sufjan Stevens.

Btw, a Belgian asking an Brit about F242? What's the world coming to? I'd say their most essential studio album is actually a comp, "Backcatalogue". It contains all their early singles and hard to find stuff, it's easily the one I listen to most. "Front By Front" and "Official Version" are generally regarded as their best albums. Their "Live Target" bootleg is superb quality too, should you need a "best of" type introduction.

Their last album was massively underrated, "Pulse" should have made them huge again. Just avoid the "Off " albums, or anything with lots of numbers in the title.
