phillip glass

I saw a performance of phillip glass a year or two ago, he is an amazing composer. he also writes music for movies or performance art videos, he did music for The Hours, and this other video thing i saw at a New York City art museum in Manhatten.

what are your thoughts on phillip glass?

he is my favorite classical composer

Hello,
Glass is cool. I have "Heroes" in my car come to think of it. You might also want to check out music by Steve Reich. They are definetly different composers but often get stuffed into the same Minimalist classification. Good stuff...

ahh Steve Reich, I just purchased "Works 1965-1995" 10cd set and its amazing, great box set and I would recommend it to anyone!

well i got it pretty cheap through a distributor here at work for about 75 bucks...it usually retails for around 100!
