Good grief.... This makes my brain itch more than philosophy ever could, Rev.Rock But as we already decided, a little brain itch is good now and then. (Or even, a lot...)

Hmm.. let's see. If I had to do without the music from one of those two decades, I'd have to choose... I suppose I'd go with the 60's. Cream, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, all that great Motown and soul music, free jazz, AND 90% of The Beatles... too much to sacrifice.

90's. If I was brought up in the 60's I would have said that but that's not the case.

i'm gonna cop out and say both. the 60s largely had better music, but the 90s is where i learned to love music.

60s was better for pop tunes as they knew how to write decent pop tunes back then....90's for more alt stuff, so both have its plusses.

Good rock and or/roll of the 60's, versus gangsta rap and alternative of the 90's? That's tough.....

There was definately more variety in the 90's, but I woulda loved to see Zeppelin/Hendrix/Doors/Beatles.....so I'd say the 60's. Plus, I'm one of the people smart enough to grab all those Zeppelin DVD's/CD's, and life just looked better back then. That is, unless you were black living in the south. Society was worse off, but people had manners. Plus, you could screw alot, and I bet the drugs were better/cheaper......

I like some of that 90s rock. more so than what I have seen in the 00s. But the 60s (and 70s) do have tons of rock music that I like. All I can say for certain is that they are both better than the 80s.

oh an yes. I am black and from the south. so no waxing nostaglic about life in general during the 50s/60s or you will get lots of sarcastic coments from me.
