Anyone know of a free radio broadcasting program/site other than Winamp's Shoutcast? Live365 became a pay service about a year and a half ago and I've been looking for one ever since.

No, like elsewhere on the web, few services are free anymore...

I looked for other free services when live365 went to a pay format,, I couldn't find anything of any worth...

I have been on live365 for over three years now and it still is the best online radio service out there in my opinion... It has almost 10,000 radio stations and covers every style of music you can think of (as well as comedy and talk)...

And to be honest, their fees are reasonable... If the hobby of running an online radio station means something to you, their fee structure should not be the thing holding you back as you can broadcast a good size mp3 library station on there for less than $20 a month...

You could try a free program called JetCast. Not many users, but as people discover it, it might catch on. Easy to set-up, also.
